Would universal income help ease the issues for Gen Z and above?

Millennials and the generations after really got hosed by the boomer generation. Cost of living is out of control here in the states, and I think it's only going to get worse and worse for Gen Z and above. I know I got it pretty bad, but I like to think Millennials were the last generation that got in. But we too are struggling. Which is why, I think universal income could help make things a lot easier for the citizens, especially when costs keep rising around the US and the world. Future generations are going to struggle to find good paying jobs.

I think it would provide a lot of help and could ease some of that stress of getting by week to week. Do you think it would help? Or would it be better if we increased pay for jobs going forward? I don't see that happening anytime soon though.

A universal basic income could definitely help ease financial stress, especially as automation and rising costs make stable jobs harder to find. It would ensure everyone meets basic needs, promoting stability and dignity. However, fair wages and job growth are also essential for long-term sustainability—ideally, both should work together to create a more balanced, secure economy for future generations.

I believe universal income can be of help to
ease the lives of Gen Z and above. It can bring peace of mind, especially to those who do not earn that much every month. It can help those who have lost their jobs and lessen poverty.

Finance is one of the issues Gen Z is facing, inflation is high, lifestyle cost is increasing, yet income is not increasing. Gen Z is also being highly influenced by unrealistic lifestyles that they see on social media. Even the cost of education has drastically increased, which is keeping Gen Z in debt. I think universal income could help Gen Z, including Gen Y or even X.
