I think that streaming TV series are better than traditional TV in terms of their illustration of mental health. They have more freedom to cover topics related to mental health. You get to witness the development of the characters, which makes them relatable. Meanwhile, I find traditional TV more strict in terms of showing mental health issues. What do you think?

Streaming shows usually handle mental health in a deeper and more realistic way because they have more time to develop characters. Traditional TV can feel more limited or simplified, though both can still influence how people understand these issues.

Traditional shows tend to be focused more on the glory days of shows. So they don't really tackle mental health issues that often, but some did in the past and some do now. Streaming series usually don't have too many limitations when it comes to content, while one topic might not be suitable for a show airing on a tv station it might be fine to stream on a platform like HBO Max.

I don't recall any TV shows that are specifically explored mental health issue, however, I have watched a lot of shows where they depicted characters with mental health issues. I have watched a lot of movies that specifically showed mental health struggles of a character. Some movies have done it very well.
