Are there levels to being Bipolar?

I've known people who have bipolar disorder and they seem to make life look easy, while some others seem to struggle a lot more than others. With that being said, are there levels to being Bipolar? One of my friends who suffers from it, has great days and really bad days. But another friend of mine doesn't seem to react the same at all, and he too is Bipolar.

And another reason I think this, is because I believe we all are a little Bipolar to some extent, because there are days where my mood swings, like I will be overly mad for no reason. So maybe there are levels.

Yes, bipolar disorder has levels. Bipolar I involves severe mania and depression; Bipolar II includes hypomania and depression; Cyclothymia is milder. I don't have it but thise who have it can manage their swings with therapy. You can track moods to catch episodes early.

Most people that are able to manage their bipolar conditions seem to identify triggers by themselves and avoid it totally. That could be the secret they use to stay normal even if they have bipolar conditions. And for others that manifest bipolar extremely, it could just the life circumstances that would be the cause of it manifesting that way. If their life conditions improve, they would manifest bipolar less.
