Pets offer companionship and reduce anxiety. Do you have a pet? How has it helped your emotional well-being?

Yes, pets can greatly improve mental health. They provide companionship, reduce stress and anxiety, encourage routine, and promote physical activity. Interacting with pets can increase feel-good hormones like oxytocin, offering emotional comfort and reducing feelings of loneliness or depression.

At the end of the day, i believe it depends on the individual. I have seen people with mental issues after owning a pet they begin to get better, so i guess it helps keep their minds busy, relaxed and happy.

I truly believe that having pets greatly improves your mental health and it's also linked to people living longer lives studies have shown. Cat purrs tend to help lower stress levels, and can even help with physical pain at times too. Having a dog allows you to go outside and walk more which can also help with mental health too.

Pets can improve mental health. Studies show they reduce stress hormones like cortisol and increase oxytocin, which supports bonding and calmness. I don’t have pets but I have heard from many people about how daily interaction, routine care, and companionship can reduce loneliness and improve mood.

I have had pets throughout my entire life. Based on my having pets and how they have made me feel, and also having family pets and how they have made my children feel, I do believe that pets can improve mental health.

I remember when we lost our family cat, Smokey, back in 2022. She was a year older than my youngest son, so he basically grew up with her, and it hit him pretty hard. He also has autism.

I also believe it that way pet can improve mental health to be sincere for instance when I return from work and feel bored I will rush to my pet and we both will play together I feel relieved to some degree
