I was 14 when I did finally come out as a crossdresser at age 14. Admit it wasn't easy, knew when I was 10 that there was something about female clothing I liked. Remember going into mom's side of the closet feeling her dresses. I finally got the courage of trying one of her dresses and loved it at age 13 which was a one time deal. I put it back how she had it It was just my parents and I at the kitchen table after finishing supper. Mom noticed something was up with me and that is when I opened up finally coming out I have another side of me, a female side of me that wanted liking to wear female clothing. They did come to terms about this was me, Met with the therapist we seen and did refer me to a specialist on this. The specialist said crossdresser and next was a life changing decision, transformed into a girl and knew I never wanted to go back once I seen the results in the mirror. Did my hair, nails and make up done and even got my ears pierced. I tried on a red top with jeans on. My parents saw the results once they walked and knew changes were going to happen. They saw that I seen wearing boy's clothes were boring to wear and let live my life as this. Being the oldest of 3 sons, Seen me as a daughter they never had seeing I was finally happy wearing girl's clothes. My brothers had to learn to adapting to having an older sister in their life which they did taking a month

It sounds like coming to terms with yourself at such a young age took a lot of courage. I’m glad your parents listened to you and gave you space to talk openly instead of making you feel ashamed. Having supportive family members can make a huge difference, especially during adolescence. I hope things continue to go well for you.

It and things have been great ever since. Also lucky to have a very supportive wife, my wife Cassie whom has known me since we were kids

You seem to have taken a lot of courage to finally open up, especially after keeping those feelings to yourself for so many years. I’m really glad your parents were able to understand and support you. Having your family accept you for who you are, and seeing that happiness replace the stress, must have meant so much. It’s nice to hear that your brothers also adjusted and came to accept you as their older sister.
