When it comes to the Holidays and Christmas, I often find myself becoming more anxious about having to be out and about a little bit more than I would normally and also with possibly having visitors and also visiting others around that time of year. I find when I am put in any situations where I am not sure, my anxiety can get a lot worse than it would normally, and I have to find ways to overcome that so that I don't miss out on the fun of the Holidays when visiting family or family visiting.

Do you find that when it comes to the Holidays your anxiety tends to spike a little more than it usually does? What do you feel causes that and do you have ways to be able to deal with it?

I'm not the outgoing type but I try to seat out as little as I can. it is always good to find things to do with others to be used to people

My anxiety definitely spikes anytime I have a prolonged period of time where my usual schedule (ie work & other activities) will be interrupted, so naturally holidays are definitely a time of high anxiety for me. Mainly because I really like my routine, and struggle with being "knocked out" of it as such, and getting back into the swing of things after a holiday period.

Yes, my anxiety tends to increase a bit during the holidays. I feel quite uneasy about going to crowded malls, getting stuck in traffic, and dealing with the hustle and bustle that comes with this season. Hehe

Yes, I do notice my anxiety can spike around the holidays. The pressure to meet expectations, social obligations, and the general hustle can feel overwhelming. I try to set boundaries and focus on simple, meaningful moments to stay grounded.

Holiday time means you will have to spend a lot of money. When you are on tight budget, holidays can be stress and anxiety. I sometimes experience this. Even when I have money, the social pressure to spend money puts me under stress and anxiety. Holiday also means social gathering and I am not very comfortable around people

No, my anxiety does not spike around the holidays. Most times i feel stressed out during the holiday but not anxious.
