Napping has a lot of benefits, including mental health benefits. When you nap 20 minutes in the early afternoon, it will improve your work performance, ease your stress, sharpen you memory, lift your mood, make you more alert and help you react faster.
Do you take afternoon nap?

Getting a nap is a luxury for me. I go to work and we don't get nap time. However during weekend I take naps.

I know the benefits of napping, however, napping isn't well appreciated in my culture. It is non-existent in our work culture.

I rarely take naps because I will often wake up feeling groggy and worse than before I took a nap. Though sometimes when I do take a nap, it refreshes me. I typically only take naps when I'm not feeling well or I barely slept the night before and had to work.

I rarely take naps. I remember when my kids were in school, if I did not sleep too well the night before, I would take a nap while they were in school and that used to help me a great deal in terms of mood as well as how I felt in myself.

Now that my kids have college or work, and their schedules are all over the place, I don't tend to nap as much as I used to.
