Does working out help with your depression?

I found that if I workout somewhat often, it helps me relieve stress and helps with my depression. I know some will say the act of working out can be stressful, but I no longer feel that way. As a good workout feels good and in turn makes me feel good.

Do you guys think that working out can help with your depression, stress, anxiety, etc?

Yeah, working out lifts my mood by boosting endorphins. I try running or yoga to ease depression. A 30-minute jog helps me feel lighter, cutting through the fog of low days.

I just wish I did it more often. Recently I've been slacking on my workouts and working out in general, and I need to jump back into it more, or get into some kind of rhythm.

Some studies suggest that exercise can help you when it comes to reducing depression. However, exercise alone will never cure depression. If you want to cure depression, then you must great the root cause of depression. If you are suffering from depression due to financial crisis, then you must seek ways to earn money.
