Lately gas prices have been going up, and I believe these prices are the highest I've seen it in my entire life. With gas prices going up, groceries are also going up and it's hard to afford a house too. For some of us millennials, the first economic crash happened right after we graduated high school. What are you doing to cope with the cost of living? Has it mentally affected you yet or do you have money saved and a plan? I'm also paying off medical bills currently so I'm living paycheck to paycheck and it's hard.

They're struggling. Many are juggling multiple bills at once while feeling like nothing they do is working . A lot are picking up side hustles just to get by , and I keep seeing people say they feel like they were set up for failure .

As someone who just became a first time home buyer this year, it's truly brutal. I was not expecting prices and interest rates to be this bad when I initially started looking for a home. I honestly don't know how the younger generation will be able to afford the cost of living in my area, it's becoming way more expensive and the necessary household income to live comfortably is incredibly high here.

I see many millennials trying to adapt by becoming more intentional with spending and looking for additional income sources. Rising housing, food, healthcare, and childcare costs have pushed a lot of people to budget more carefully, share expenses, delay major purchases, or take on side work. Many people also prioritizing financial flexibility over traditional milestones. Things like renting longer, living with family for extended periods, remote work, and career changes have become more common responses to economic pressure.
