Many people say meditation transformed their lives, while others find it frustrating or ineffective. Do you think meditation works for everyone, or is it only useful for certain personality types?

I think it really depends on the person. Some people may find it very useful to meditate from time to time, while others may not be convinced it's as helpful as people make it out to be. But that is what you make of it. If it works for you, more power to you. If it doesn't, same. I think whatever works best for you is what works for you.

I wouldn't say it's overhyped, but overrated in some cases. I just find a use for it myself. But I know there are many people who do find it very helpful to their mental health.

I think meditation can benefit most people, but results vary. Some notice calm and clarity quickly, while others struggle with focus or patience. You need to find a style that fits your personality, like guided, movement-based, or mindfulness meditation, and practicing consistently rather than expecting instant transformation.

Meditation is not over-hyped. It actually works well for depressive tendencies and other mental health issues. I think that it works best for people that are open minded enough to accept that they are not going to have a quick fix when they start meditation for their mental health. They follow bit by bit and get the results. The people that it didn't work for, they didn't follow the process and gave up so early.

Meditation might be helpful to some extent. However, the fact remains that it is not a replacement for therapy or a proper treatment. Meditation should be used in conjunction with other treatment options.

Meditation is neither overhyped nor a miracle cure. It’s a simple mental skill that becomes powerful when practiced consistently. It helps train attention, reduce stress, and create distance from overwhelming thoughts. Many people expect instant calm, but the real benefit is gradual. Over time, meditation improves emotional stability, clarity, and self-awareness. It can feel overrated when presented as a quick fix for everything. But it’s underrated as a daily mental hygiene habit, similar to exercise for the body. Its value isn’t in eliminating problems, but in changing how you relate to them.
