Do you take medication or prefer not to?

When it comes to ones mental health, sometimes taking a medication can really help. But I know some people swear off the use of medication, so much so that they don't take anything. But, what about you? Do you need to take medication? Or would you rather not be medicated and do other types of therapy?

I don't know how one gets to know that he/she has some mental issues. For me if you consider upsets as mental issues, then for getting relaxed I meditate, go for a walk or do anything which I like, I don't take any medicine or treatment for the same.

Yes, I like to take medications because medications have helped me a lot when it comes to dealing with mental problems. People should not stop taking medications. I also take medication and I have to deal with severe side effects. But it is a part of taking medications.

I’ve taken medication for anxiety before, but I prefer not to rely on it if I can manage things in other ways. Sometimes it helps to have it as a backup, but my goal is always to handle things through habits, support, and coping skills whenever possible.

It's only very few number of people in the whole world that never gets sick, the rest do and they need one form of medication or another to get better. I go to hospital whenever I'm sick and the best treatment my money can pay for.

I don't mind taking medication if it is required for my mental health. The goal is for me to feel better and if taking drugs can assist in that, I will gladly take the drugs recommended by doctors.
