I have not been diagnosed with any mental conditions myself, but I know for a fact I have severe social anxiety, along with probably other conditions I don't know about. But for the most part, I do believe I have social anxiety and anxiety in general. I might be a little agoraphobic to some extent, but again, I am not diagnosed by any doctor.

So if you're self diagnosed yourself, what condition do you believe you have? And do you ever plan to get diagnosed by a doctor to know for sure? I've thought about doing it, but am not a big fan of doctors. What about you though? If it helps to get diagnosed, would you see a doctor to find out for sure?

Yes, I’ve done that plenty of times 😂. You Google one symptom and next thing you’re convinced you’ve got one rare illness. It’s funny but dangerous too. I once thought I had ulcer when it was just gas from skipping meals. It’s better to see a doctor if you can, instead of stressing yourself with online results.

Nope, I don't do it because what if something goes wrong? Yes, it's very expensive going to the hospital but life is more expensive and I make money for it to be put in use when such health issues comes up. I don't take my health lightly.

Yes, sometimes I notice symptoms or patterns in myself and try to understand what they might indicate. I don’t rely solely on my own judgment, though. I see it more as a starting point before consulting professionals if needed.

I like going to the hospital whenever I feel sick so that the doctor can examine me before determining what is wrong with me. I don't like a situation where I would have to do it myself and start taking drugs for a different health issue instead.

I self diagnose myself for physical, mental, as well as emotional health. However, except for natural therapy, lifestyle modification, I don't try anything foolish to harm myself. I mean I don't take medication after self diagnosis.

Yeah, I’ve done it a few times, usually when I felt something was off and wanted a quick explanation. It’s not always helpful though. Self-diagnosis can create unnecessary fear or make you overlook the real issue. I’ve learned it’s better to take notes, observe patterns, and talk to a professional when something feels persistent.

Yep I have self diagnosed myself with autism. Now I know there are many people who are autistic who get upset when others self diagnose, but hear me out. I was diagnosed with a learning disability as a young kid growing up in the 90's when health professionals wanted to stop diagnosing so many kids with autism. I believe I was misdiagnosed as a kid. Because I can tell you, if I actually take the time to ask others for help when I am learning something and if it's a topic I'm interested in, I can even teach myself things. For example I've taught myself how to ROM hack, and yeah I've asked for help but most of what I know came from me being disciplined and teaching myself. That doesn't sound like a learning disability to me.
